About The Center Township Recreation (CTR)
The Center Township Recreation (CTR) is a non-profit organization created by the Center Township Supervisors
with the purpose of offering family and child oriented activities to the Center Township residents.
The Center Township Recreation Department is comprised of members and volunteers residing in our township who devote their time for
the betterment of our community.
Center Township Recreation organizes many family and children activities such as Easter Egg Hunt, T-Ball, Flag Football,
Movies in the Park, Fall Fest, Breakfast/Lunch with Santa, Mother/Son Spring Fling, and the Father/Daughter Holiday Formal.
Also CTR sponsors Summer Camp Programs which included Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball and Arts & Crafts for all
children in kindergarten through fifth grade with some offered to older youths when applicable.
CTR would like to expand our reach to more families in Center Township and the surrounding communities. If interested in volunteering for Center Township Recreation Department or you would like to be an event volunteer then plan to attend meetings on either the 1st or 2nd Tuesday of the month (depending on availability) or contact us and provide your name and phone number so we can contact you.

Directions to Fred Taddeo Municipal Park (Coming from Pittsburgh International Airport):
Take Route 60 (Beaver Valley Expressway) to Center Exit Off of Exit make a right onto Pleasant Drive . At Stop Sign make a left onto Brodhead Road Follow Brodhead Road for approximately 2 miles and make a right turn onto Center Grange Road (just past Papa Dukes restaurant on right) Go approximately 1 mile to Center Municipal Building and the Center Municipal Park (Fred Taddeo Park) and make a right turn.

Continue past the Municipal Park entrance approx 3/4 mile to a stop sign. At the Stop sign turn right onto Chapel Road. Follow Chapel Road for approximately 1 mile can and make the first right heading up the field (little league baseball field) or second right up the hill at Central Valley Softball sign.
